Reproductive Specialists of the Carolinas is a boutique practice offering comprehensive medical services in the reproductive health & fertility fields. Situated in the heart of Charlotte, this project included a complete demolition and full interior upfit to create a state-of-the-art medical facility featuring a spa-like waiting area, private exam rooms and offices, as well as an IVF Lab area and MedGas Room.

BUILDING A STATE OF THE ART LABORATORY
The build-out of the IVF lab and MedGas rooms was a highly intense process that included extensive planning and testing to ensure all medical requirements were met. Because of the nature of the labs, strict air pollution guidelines meant none of the product can have a VOC content higher than 5mg/L, which required creative solutions when finding elements such as sealants and adhesives.

CREATING A PATIENT-CENTERED EXPERIENCE
The client wanted the firm’s unique, patient-centered approach to shine through in their new space. The project’s high-tech components are met with high-end design elements to achieve a spa-like environment with features including rulon wood grills, comfortable furniture and warm tones throughout.
