Upon lease termination, Poyner Spruill hired Barringer Construction to build their new space, a full floor renovation of the twenty-ninth floor of One Wells Fargo. Wanting to trend away from the conventional law firm feel, they created a new and modern experience for both their employees and clients. Their space showcases a very sleek and clean feel that differentiates itself from the industry norm with detailed wood paneling in the elevator lobby, a custom, matching reception desk with cabinets and coffee bar, oversized 2×8 ceiling tiles to align with grout lines in the floor tile, and over 400’ of custom light coves in the elevator lobby, reception area, conference rooms, and in front of all the exterior offices. A custom lighting package controlled the lights, shades, TV, and AV systems with recessed lights in hard ceilings to highlight the three separate rock walls. A new pantry/break room, with exposed ceilings and a floating cloud ceiling, is the highlight of this space.
