duke mt. holly campus upgrades

Barringer Construction has worked in various capacities on the Duke Mt. Holly campus, most recently installing a 350kW natural gas generator to support testing efforts inside the ETO lab.
MT. HOLLY MICROGRID
Also completed on the Duke Mt. Holly campus was the installation of an all new 350kW natural gas generator, which supported the testing efforts inside the ETO lab. This installation included the new switch gear, transformers and gas turbine generator required to support the microgrid testing lab. Removal of the existing equipment was also included in this scope. The project team was extremely nimble in their approach, and was able to support all last minute changes while executing the finished product on schedule.
MT. HOLLY METER FARM
Included in this project was the installation of an all new meter farm at the Duke Mt. Holly campus. The installation of this meter farm ensured all power meters were properly calibrated and working properly before use.
