Making a bold move to redefine the concept of a corporate office environment

When looking for a new office space that would better suit its evolving workplace standard, Grant Thornton made a bold move: it relocated from its long-term space in Uptown Charlotte to become one of the first tenants to occupy the newly developed Vantage Towers in South End, an area with greater access to amenities for its employees to balance work and life more easily. Encompassing over 31,000 square feet, this full-floor interior upfit for Grant Thornton Charlotte is a first-of-its-kind design for the company, deploying the next iteration of their fast-advancing workplace standard.

Where corporate meets cool

With features that include a mix of community desks and private offices, conference rooms of various sizes, sound-proof telephone booths, and a café and coffee bar, Grant Thornton’s office was designed for a new way of working, truly embodying the company’s ‘Where Corporate Meets Cool’ workplace vision. Their goal for the new space was to meet employees where they worked best and provide the individual consumer with the opportunity to work in an environment of their preference. By consolidating to a single floor and being intentional about every square foot, the firm’s new office provides greater functionality than its previous space, emphasizing scalability and user options.

I want to express my gratitude again for all the hard work the Barringer team has put into our project. I simply can’t begin to tell you what a pleasure it has been working with you all on this project. Everyone is extremely excited about our move to Vantage, and those executives that have been able to get a preview of the space, have had nothing but good things to say.
