Bringing a first-class banking experience to the heart of Greenville, SC

In a notable project for Dogwood State Bank, the regional banking chain opened its first location in Greenville, SC as part of the company’s strategic expansion into new markets. The bank selected a 4,300-square-foot space within the Homewood Suites space in the heart of downtown, opting to convert two former hotel suites into a cutting-edge banking and office environment.

Innovative use of space and resources

Transforming old hotel suites into a high-functioning bank involved inventive use of space and resources. The existing layout was skillfully adapted to incorporate multifunctional elements that optimize the limited square footage. Now, Dogwood’s new location boasts custom-built teller stations, six private offices, two conference rooms, a vault room, private restrooms and breakrooms, all of which were designed to maximize efficiency and accessibility.

Balancing construction in an active hotel environment

One of the project’s most distinctive challenges was executing a full-scale commercial build-out on the ground floor of an active hotel—with no direct connection to the hotel’s operations. To minimize disruption and maintain a seamless guest experience, our team carefully coordinated construction schedules around the hotel’s peak hours, balancing efficiency with discretion to keep the project moving smoothly and respectfully.
