HOSPITALITY

Our team was tasked with transforming two existing tenant spaces inside the Fifth Third Center Lobby in uptown Charlotte into a new, modern coffee bar. Project scope included full demolition of the existing space, the installation of built-in menu boards and cork walls, custom walnut casework and new tables. Existing concrete floors were finished to match the lobby’s flooring. High-end finishes including brass trim and modern light fixtures complete the space while complementing the existing interior of the lobby.

The main goal of this space was to create an upscale and relaxing environment while also allowing for the quick, seamless flow of a high volume of customers. The open concept is anchored by a central, u-shaped bar that offers both casual bar seating and an easily accessible pick-up area. Flexible seating is available throughout the space to accommodate both groups and individuals. The grab-and-go style snack bar provides additional convenience to patrons, and the space’s large entry ways allow for the open flow of customers.

This renovation was completed while the building remained fully occupied, requiring extensive pre-planning and safety efforts by our team to remain on schedule while minimizing disruptions to current tenants.
