It was another successful year at the annual Wake County Connect for Success NC S.H.E.D Competition! 60 local high school carpentry students spent the week “learning by doing” by constructing a 8′ x 11’6″ shed with the help of local general contractors and subcontractors. These industry professionals mentored students on safety, quality, planning, communication, and scheduling. Barringer had the opportunity to lead the only all-female team, who constructed an awesome “She Shed!” We are so grateful for this incredible organization and the opportunity to mentor the next generation of construction professionals!
