Barringer renovated Saertex’s North American flagship facility, adding a much needed two-story addition of office space, conference rooms and break rooms to the company’s existing warehouse facility. Glass office fronts and a customer-facing, two-story atrium with a grand staircase were also added to create an open-office environment. Sitework included parking lot improvements and hardscapes as well as upgrades to an outdated detention pond.

MAINTAINING A FULLY OPERATIONAL ENVIRONMENT
In addition to the extensive renovation, our team had to ensure minimal interference onsite as the company remained open for business throughout construction. To help aleviate disruptions, Barringer completed the clearing, fine grading and placing of foundations for Saertex’s temporary modular office spaces. This required installing an ADA ramp and concrete pad for the HVAC, re-working existing metal panels to allow an HVAC opening, and waterproofing the full structural steel facade addition.
