HOSPITALITY

Our team recently completed this new brewery and corporate office headquarters for Artisanal Brewing Ventures (ABV). The impressive 25-barrel brewhouse includes a 300-seat tap room, outdoor space and its very own packaging line.

HEAVY MEP INFRASTRUCTURE

On this project interconnections and process piping requirements for the automated brewing operations were significant. Underground coordination efforts were taken for chemical resistant high temperature brew house trench drains, kitchen grease, restrooms, and beverage chases.

SAVINGS THROUGH VALUE ENGINEERING

We worked as a cohesive team with the Owner and Designer early on in this project, going through three full rounds of scope management exercises to identify main cost drivers and possible alternatives. As a result, we identified $1.2 million in savings for the Owner without taking scope out of the project.

ADAPTIVE REUSE

Prior to renovations, this facility was an old family fiber mill that dated back to 1946. We utilized as much as possible of the existing building structure, including the characteristic ceiling trusses, while remediating the typical challenges associated with buildings from this era to bring it up to code. We also coordinated the reuse of several historic, Owner-provided brew tanks.
